VOCO Profluorid Varnish SingleDose – The 2nd most innovative product in the USA

VOCO Profluorid Varnish SingleDose, the new fluoride-containing varnish for tooth desensitisation, has been declared as one of the top products of 2009 by the US magazine “Dental Products Report”. The deciding factor here was how often a particular innovative product was placed on the cover based on surgery recommendations and/or given the rating “Editor’s Choice”. The products that are distinguished as such, by the DPR editorial staff for instance, permit efficient use in the dental surgery and simul-taneously provide a clearly recognizable benefit in the improvement of patient care. VOCO Profluorid Varnish SingleDose particularly impressed the DPR editorial staff with the equally con-venient and especially hygienic disposable blister. The blister allows the varnish to be applied to moist surfaces in only seconds. The tooth-shaded varnish features a sodium fluoride content of 5% and is ideally suited for the treatment of hypersensitive teeth, sealing dentine tubules during cavity preparation or sensitive root surfaces as well as for the treatment of cervical areas after professional cleaning and scaling of calculus. VOCO Profluorid Varnish has a pleasant, fruity taste and does not contain saccharin, aspartame or gluten. The varnish is available in 0.25 ml and 0.4 ml SingleDose blisters and thus por-tioned in the optimal quantity for the treatment of both adults and children. Since VOCO Profluorid Var-nish is applied in a thin layer, every application is quite profitable. The magazine “Dental Products Report” is also present on the internet and it ranks as one of the leading independent information sources for American dentists for the clinical use of new products, devices and technologies.
